Zack and Miri Do What?
Last weekend at a multiplex in the closest outlet mall for about 45 miles, a movie called “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” opened. It’s supposed to be a “comedy about best friends making a porn movie to make some money.” Would it surprise you to know that it ranked second in the box office, drawing in over $10 million this weekend?
Trailers were placed on the Internet, many of them with warnings that you shouldn’t watch the trailer if you aren’t over 18. AS IF! How many people do you suppose that stopped?
Does anyone besides me find it ironic that you can’t show a porn film in a regular theater, but you can show a film about people making a porn film? It reminds me of that innocuous little film that surfaced a few years ago. It was a nice little Christmas story called “Love Actually,” set in England around the Christmas holiday. Of the multiple storylines in that film, one was about a couple who met and fell in love – while being body stand-ins for porn actors.
Here’s what I don’t understand about the MPAA – House gets an R for its intensity, but films about people making porn films don’t get an NC-17?
By the way, the distribution company for “Zack and Miri” is the Weinstein Company, who brought us Miss Potter, The Great Debaters, and Hoodwinked. Word also has it the Weinsteins are also looking faith properties to distribute.
Yes for the first time the most of the people voted for
a person of color.
It shocks me as a Minister of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus.
That America was brain washed over the 2 years leading
up to the Election. The President elect is contrary to
everything that Word of God Stands for. In Another words he
is ANTI God Anti-Religion.
When a man and his family sits under a Pastor for 20 years,
and listens to the hate filled garbage coming from the pulpit,
and says nothing until the White House is in his site.
Statements like “Not God bless America but G D America”
according to “his” pastor. Also his ties to Terrorist.
People his family is Muslim. He was raised a Muslim.
And then like sheep lead to to butcher he says “I will Take from the rich and give it to the poor.” That my friends is
Socialism and Marxism. One step away from Communism.
The Rich people the high middle class are the ones that
provide All the Jobs. The Rich and the Middle Class pay ALL
the Taxes. The poor pay nothing. Why should WE pay them
for not working like He wants to do.
Jesus Himself said there would aways be the poor.
I am not going to give my hard earned money to people that
want the Government to take care of them.
This is the next step just shy of the Rapture of the church.
America will fall as a great power. This next President will see to that.
America can not be great. The coming Seal Judgement
of The Book of Revelation says nothing about US but
everything about Russia and the Middle East. The US is
probably Nuked into submision. I don’t know for sure
but WE can’t be great that is reserved for the ANTI-CHRIST.
But read the end of the Bible CHRIST WINS, AND WE THE
CHRISTIANS WIN ALSO.
WE ARE CLOSER TO THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH THEN WE THOUGHT.
GOD’S JUDGEMENT IS GOING TO FALL ON AMERICA FOR TURNING IT’S BACK ON HIM

Randy, I would like your take on this.
I was reading in Daniel 7 today, and in the vision of the ten kings, it struck me that if Obama is the eleventh king, it would track back to Truman being the first, and the first after the founding of Israel, and the first that began America’s modern ascendency. It struck me that if Obama is the eleventh king, then he will be in power and persecuting the people of God for three and a half years, which would coincide with the 2012 date some have given for the likely end of this church age.
I don’t want to start an armageddon conspiracy thread in the middle of this, but since you brought up the subject, if you could just do one post on this possibility, I’d appreciate it.
