The Future of Music Video?

Legendary rock band U2 explodes in theaters this weekend with their cutting-edge, state-of-the-art technology and effects 3-D extravaganza. Titled simply “U2 3D,” the 80-minute film is a concert experience that takes viewers on an extraordinary cinematic journey. Praised as a “quantum leap” beyond traditional concert films, it could be the front edge of a new wave of video production.

U2 has always understood the power of multisensory engagement, so it’s only fitting they chose to explore the possibilities of 3-D technology. The concert footage is from their 2006 “Vertigo” tour in South America.

Totally agree with Angela,I hope Christian bands and artist won’t be slow catching that “new wave of video production”, a U2 fan must-see…incredible and quite an inspiration, as a Christian band we(1000generations) were raving about it long after the last song, The 3D movie is better than most live concerts i have seen..Peace
