Networking for Filmmakers 101

If you’re an indie producer, you ought to be part of the Indie Producer Network. The best networking site for independent producers, the group also sponsors an annual “Schmoozefest,” along with a screenwriting contest and short film contest.

This year’s screenwriting contest winner was set up with 11 meetings, including 3 with managers and 3 with agents. The crowning glory? An hour-long sit-down with Oscar-nominated screenwriter Stephen Rivele (Ali, Nixon, Copying Beethoven).

They’ve also set up a social networking site for sharing your photos, videos, blogging, etc. Take advantage of it!

I have been trying to locate the title of an end-times movie that was released in mid to late eighties. I have been having a hard time finding it. The info I can remember about the film was that it involved guillotines and the mark of the beast being a barcode tattoed on the hand for use in super-markets and almost everywhere else. If anyone has any idea what the title might be please let me know, Thank You.
