Filmmakers’ Challenge from World Vision

Sojourners and World Vision are partnering together on a new initiative called the Filmmaker Challenge. They are asking aspiring filmmakers to create a short video (less than 4-minutes) that demonstrates what everyday people can do to help end poverty.

The winner gets an all expense paid trip to Africa and a flight to Washington, D.C., to have their video premiered at The Mobilization to End Poverty. This historic gathering of thousands of activists takes place on April 26-29, 2009, and they expect President-elect Obama to give the keynote address.

A great supporter of World Vision is AIDtoCHILDREN.com.

AIDtoCHILDREN.com is a dual-purpose site for building an English
vocabulary and raising money for under privileged children in the most impoverished places around the world.

    Check it out at http://www.aidtochildren.com
