“Clancy” in Production

Kelly’s Filmworks (The Perfect Stranger, Another Perfect Stranger, and The Stranger short series) is in production on a new feature film titled “Clancy.”

The original story is written and directed by Jefferson Moore. “Clancy” is the story of a 10-year-old runaway girl who connects with a homeless Gulf War veteran. Christina Fougnie (seen at left), who has a part in one of The Stranger TV episodes, makes her big-screen debut as the young runaway.

The cast and crew are shooting on location in Kentucky, Jefferson’s home state. The film’s projected release date is this fall.

Personally, I’m excited about a new film from Kelly’s Filmworks. Jefferson’s previous movies have been very well-made and thought-provoking, and based on adaptations of books. It will be interesting to see a film based on an original story and script.

I am in the programming department at TBN and have acquired both movies, “The Perfect Stranger” and Another Perfect Stranger”. I must say that every time I air either of those movies, the response is great. Jefferson’s ability as a writer is what I am most impressed with. I can’t wait to see this new moviw.

Hmmm…Maybe I’ll try them, I wasn’t particularly impressed by the covers so haven’t tried them.

As the saying goes, never judge a book by its’ cover. I think you just might enjoy these movies.
