But Jesus answered him, saying,"It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.' " The reason why we Christians attack or are susceptible to such things is because we do not know or forget who we are. The last thing Jesus heard before going into the wilderness was stated clearly in Matthew 3:17 before going into the wilderness/desert. What is the last thing we have heard and received from God our Father before doing such things, before going on the attack/reacting to situations rather than respond to them from the truth.</description>
