A Life-Changing Book: “The Shack”

I’m an avid reader. While on vacation last week, I read about 10 books and skimmed another 15 or so. It was wonderful!

Where is God when it hurts?

It’s even better when I read a book that is really life- or philosophy-changing. The last book of that nature that I read was The Shack. Written by William P. Young, it’s an incredible story of a man’s journey through tragedy to find answers to the question “Where is God in a world filled with unspeakable pain?”

People who have read it have made statements like…

“It totally challenged my view of God.”

“The portrayal of the Trinity is incredible.”

“It’s amazing how story and art can be used to affect us so profoundly.”

Get a copy and read it yourself, then leave your comments on The Shack page on ChristianCinema.com.
